Standalone sub meter accuracy with simpleRTK2B ZED-F9P: FW 1.13 is here

Short post today. We just wanted to let you know that there is the new firmware 1.13 available for simpleRTK2B ZED-F9P. The interesting upgrade is that is brings SBAS to affordable dual band ZED-F9P, which means now it’s possible to have sub meter accuracy (0.9m CEP) without the need of correction data.

For the ones who don’t know, SBAS are a set of almost stationary satellites that provide partial correction data. The new firmware supports WAAS, EGNOS & QZSS, so users in North America, Europe & Japan are the lucky ones who get to try and enjoy this new feature.
