Using 3 ZED-F9P to track object’s (or camera’s) location and orientation

Dear followers,

Today we want to share this cool project from Pasi Nuutinmäki where you can see one of the use cases of 3xZED-F9P version of simpleRTK2B-SBC.

The setup consists of 2 “rigs” with 3 GNSS-antennas/receivers (u-blox ZED-F9P) attached to both. Using the coordinates of the antennas, the location and orientation of an object can be solved/tracked. This data is then used to create a location/orientation script that is used by a project created with Godot-game engine. Final video uses “virtual” parts created using this Godot-project. There was trees and buildings right next to this setup, shadowing the GNSS-signals. These devices, however seem to work quite well even in these non-ideal conditions.
